Looked them up. Kewl! The Kings out here have very dark red meat. They spend most of their lives in the ocean and come back after 4-5 years to spawn and die. We saw a few spawning up at our cabin this weekend, but we mostly saw Pinks. Fisheries estimates there will be a return of approx 7 million Pinks (Humpys) this year.
