I'm undisturbed by the Mitt Romney issues raised and Beck's opinion shift. It is legitimate to change one's opinion over time -- and for example, American voters are rapidly changing their opinion of Obama along with his changes they can no longer afford to believe in.

The bottom line distinction between Beck and Obama is a function of professing incongruent positions at the same time vis-à-vis changing one's opinion given insight and further analysis. I find Beck to be intellectually honest. Beck and anyone else can legitimately change their opinion. That is a normal part of the learning process.

Obama by contrast, might be viewed as a pathological liar. Obama can and routinely professes either side of totally incongruent, polemic issues. What he professes at the moment depends entirely upon what audience he's trying to impress. You know that's the case and we both recognize the method as a natural part of a liar’s MO.

WFB was also a debate expert – so out of respect why not listen to Beck and rebut the issues he raises rather than try to divert attention with personal attacks?

You alleged being a physician at one point, I think. If so, would you approach differential diagnosis with the same crisp logic you apply to political issues?
