That is the problem LJ, you probably are too stupid to understand it in any meaningful way. Nothing personal intended -- it is true of most of the people in the world. That is why it is such a difficult conversation and it is why climate scientists spent so long going over things to develop a high level of confidence -- they were very well aware of how hard it would be for people to understand the science,and this opens the door to a hundred people throwing as much confusion as they like into the conversation to give people the impression that we should not accept the findings. The easy part is behind us (25 years and untold man years of painstaking science) The truly overwhelming part lies ahead. The overwhelming part is to come to terms with cost effective, realistic measures that can be taken. This too will require a level of sophistication not often seen in economic policy and political discourse. So far, all indications are that Beck defines the level of discourse in America -- the idiots rule.
