Another thing I'd like to see changed is how people's damages are "judged" according to their "income".


Do you think it should be the inverse? So the high wage earner's family has to sell everything and go on welfare while the low wage earner's family hits the jackpot?

While it sounds egalitarian to say thy should be judged to be equal you have to admit that the economic loss to society and the family is greater when a person has demonstrated more worth.
