That's what Shirley did with her mother's ashes. They planted a few flower on her father's grave, then planted her mom.

My mother wanted to take my father's ashes into her coffin when she's buried. I inquired about that when they buried my uncle a couple years ago. The cemetery will charge us to open a second grave site to do this. Is that the most ridiculous thing you've ever heard?

My brother and I decided not to even tell mom about that. We both know that one of dad's last requests was to scatter his ashes on Shadow Mountain Lake, where they had a beautiful lake shore summer home for many years. We'll do that instead.
