Something I will never forget...

Several months ago now, Charlie Rose interviewed the British top advisor to Blair, his rep to the UN, I believe, and the British rep to Iraq during the Bremer time and right at the very end of the interview, Rose mentioned the Iraq WMD not being found. And the British official said "We knew he did not have them"!!!! Rose was startled, there was no followup and the interview came to a close.

The Inspectors knew he had none, Bob Graham knew he had none and millions of protestors throughout the world knew he had none. But oh yes, Bush knew Saddam wanted yellowcake from Niger even though Bush knew the UN had long ago sealed barrels of it in Iraq out in the open, unguarded and unused.

Bush wanted his family revenge and he was going to get it and now the right wingnuts want to push us into another wrong choice.

A powerful country such as ours with very smart people should be able to figure out a way to control a 1st century nation so that it does not endanger itself or us without (only) using 1st century tactics just made more lethal by 21st century technology.

And the same goes for Iran and Pakistan...
