RW, > Sure he did. What you think he's trying to fail? No, I think he honestly thought he could rush things. I don't think he's a dummy, so it's a given he expected the path to be rough. That's why I think he tried to rush through legislation before the opposition had a chance to mount any resistance. That didn't work out, which suggests that Obama underestimated the opposition. Now he's stuck with the unenviable tasks of damage control and trying to revive core support. Tenchusatsu
