You certainly have your mind made up about things for someone who recently professed to knowing nothing. The first position being fiercely loyal to the authorities of your world view, the second proclaiming willingness to look at things from different perspectives or to just be. I suspect the former lies at the base of your often repeated statement, "conservatives all hate science." Such incredible commentary costs you dearly, though I doubt you realize what is being sacrificed.

The study of sociology and a look at history from other than the dominant Western perspective (Conquering, blood lust, and acquisition of real estate) provides a glimpse at some relatively innocent and harmonious cultures. Men and women don't always have to compete in the same venues to be equal. There are numerous examples of complimentary and equal where abusive conduct is nearly non-existent, I know you like it the way we have it now with nearly 100,000 rape and assault on women convictions in the US and probably many multiples of that which does not even get reported. Not to mention the fact that women have become grotesquely, aggressive themselves in the past couple of generations. Yeehaw buckaroo we've become equal in that while the afore mentioned path toward mutual destruction is alive and well.

I speak only for my self ... conventional wisdom and authority be damned.
