I really feel for you sitting through that cold, drenching rain. I kept imagining it was even worse for the players. I heard somewhere that Jacory complained from the beginning he lacked confidence in his ability to handle the ball well in the rain. So even though Coach Beamer says, "it rained on both teams", I suspect it did weigh in our favor. No Jacory Heisman talk this week. Pundits (two) are saying this week that Alabama should be ranked number one based on beating Virginia Tech which one said, "has a REALLY good team." What a difference 62 minutes make in perceptions. BTW, it appeared on my TV that almost no one left the Nebraska game early - much to my amazement when it seemed we had zero offense in a losing cause. Anyone who took an early exit will probably never do it again. Geaux Hokies against Duke.
