Robert CYMi's fall from grace, from $25 1/2 to $24 was on less than 40,000 shares, a fraction of today's volume which was light to begin with. this is called share price corruption. it doesn't look like economics 101, but rather market makers 101 to generate interest for the shorts to cover. will they cover? most like to cover at the same time which is the same as longs trying to buy at the same time. it wouldn't take much by way of announcement from Cymer to spearhead an upward price move. will CYMI do this? if justified, yes. this is Bret and Jay's stock right now. they own it with their words or non-words, CYMI is taking a backseat. it doesn't matter what the facts are relative to the price. CYMI's business is not dependent on its stock price as are some businesses. otherwise, the shorts win, the longs lose, the white flag goes up, they can have the company.
