I agree with you... Children singing reminds me of various authoritarian regimes lining up the kids to sing "O Fearless Leader" or some such tripe. It nauseates me. When we went to China in 1988 they did something like this for the American tourists. They were keen on showing how squeaky clean the kids and schools were. This kind of manipulation really bugs me... I sure as heck don't want it here and neither Party should be doing, condoning or orchestrating it, whether I'm philosophically aligned with them or not.
