Portable browsing, document reading, document creation, skteching (can't wait to see the UI for the obvious photo editing app!) - there are all kinds of everyday, relatively non-glamorous uses for this where it would absolutely trump a netbook.

Thanks for your thoughts, WLD! Although, after using a netbook for months, I doubt the tablet will "absolutely trump a netbook." Though I am sure it will trump it in some ways, it will not be a fully functioning computer, it will be much more expensive, and it will require an entire new set of means of user operation stills, sans keyboard. (Yes, it will have a touch keyboard, but you know what I mean.)

Now, clearly I do not represent the tablet's target market, but do understand that people like you do. I'm also certain that the publicity push will be enormous, and Apple will sell mountains of tablets. But because I will not be among them, I'm trying to understand who will. Therefore, thanks again for you thoughts!
