By 1963 I had been out of the Marine Corps some 4 years and was seriously contemplating a career and geographical change, which we did a little over a year later. Busy times, those. Kids just getting started in school, me starting a business. Learning how to live on "not enough income". Most could tell similar stories, I'm sure. But, we did fine, even though my business eventually failed but led to better opportunities that I then spent some 35 years in.
