In their question they defined public option as "like Medicare". But we are not talking Medicare, are we? If that were the case, why not just change the criteria for eligibility, and/or allow people to "buy in". Why would we need a whole brand new duplicate bureaucracy?

That alone would make me question this study.

Another thing - it took place last April, way before numerous other controversies about the "public option" (and the reform in general) were brought to public attention.

Basically, sounds like it was little more than a quickie poll, consisting of just a few simple questions. How many months does it take to perform and to publish a poll?
