Yes, a specialist will take a stock down to get stops. It is best to place your stop just below a round number, ex.- 33.75 instead of 34. Specialists have been known to take out those stops @ round numbers and then take the stock back up, but it is nowhere near the manipulation a mkt maker can throw at you on the NASDAQ. Hope to see you back in NE soon. Although I did buy and sell calls on NE Tuesday morning. My stock position remains the same and looking for 75 to 80 this time next year. Good Luck! -Lucretius
