Once again, the point is, if competitive forces are tamping down the average educated American's income, why should doctors be exempt? I'm not talking about how much money any particular profession makes, I'm talking about large swaths of working America being squeezed due to larger forces at work. Nobody is disputing the work these people put in. However, with many professions the market doesn't care. Isn't that what you R's cherish so much, the market? Should docs be exempt from those forces??

Your argument is so screwed up and ridiculous on so many levels I don't even know where to start.

There is little point in arguing with you about it. But it is a sad state of affairs the Left is in, when you find it essential to punish accomplishment as your only means of lifting up those who accomplish less.

As a CPA I've had clients who were driven to succeed and those who were happy to exist. I've had clients who entered the country with NOTHING and a year later were making more money than most physicians. No TV, barely a car, not much furniture. But they worked their butts off to be successful. So, it doesn't cut much ice with me when I hear someone complain about free enterprise not giving people a fair shot.

We have a president whose primary qualification for office is that he started with nothing and made it to the most powerful position in the world. It is really hard to square that with the notion that people who want to succeed can't do it.
