><>...Hi mnmuench...><>

I hope you don't mind my answering your post to me o this thread, it just seemed an appropiate forum.
Before I get on with it I would like to comment on your post here concerning mantra. You certainly seem to know much about the subject, my hat's off to you. And if you don't mind I would like to comment on this statement of yours:

"All three methods; the intellectual, the tonal, the observational are effective. I find
the Vipassana the most essential or elemental. But when I'm off the wall the
Chanting the Ong or Ek Ong Kar can cut through a lot of chatter and fire in the
mind. It changes. What ever works. They bring peace".

What i would especially like to focus on is the following:
"It changes. What ever works. They bring peace".

They bring a false sense of peace, a superficial kind of peace. A peace for the moment. It is not a peace from within. It's an external sensation which is artifically induced by the mind in an attempt to bring about the sensation only.

Now there is a real peace which is beyond all understanding. The kind of peace that comes from within. The kind of peace that puts an individual at ease even in the midst of a storm.

OK now that I have said that I will get on with your post to me. I first want to thank you for your kind words of encouragement concerning my efforts on my thread.

My purpose for publishing the Bible was stated in the face of the thread, you must have missed it. I stated That I was doing it in hopes that people would enjoy having the words of God at their fingertips.

I don't quite understand what you ment by this:
"in your first post you mentioned discussion; but I went back a bit and all I know,
beside the fact that Egypt was havin a bit of a hard time about then, is that your purpose.
opinion, or reasons for posting, appear lacking.

This is the face of the threadis as follows.

exchange2000.com
Discussion is welcome on the following:

exchange2000.com
......OR.......
exchange2000.com

AS to opinions and or commentaries as you have mentioned the Abba God thread was designed soley for the purpose of the pure word of God without opinions....again, the other forums were set up for purposes of discussions.

In any case my friend thanks again for your input I appreciate it.
And sorry for any misunderstanding.

Have a good evening
Shalom...><>
BTW..what were you getting at in relation to Egypt.
