Who do you think is responsible for there being a species in the first place? Anthony Flew was driven to honestly move away from his Atheism by asking and answering (at least partly) that question.

Who said it was, or could??? OTOH, I don't see why (according to your philosophy) there is a substantial difference between cows and people. It's WHO was watching you, as you killed the cow/person, that matters.
