That's pretty much a nonsensical question. The real one to ask is "Why doesn't Stevie go out in the field and collect his own data and publish it, instead of trying to crib off of every other kid in the lab?"

Actually, they aren't. My last paygrade was GS 11 Respiratory Physiologist. I've been "reading" since 1962; chemistry and physics of carbon, and pre-med zoology. This stuff is easier than rolling downhill. "Differential Equations" was one of my downfalls.
