That was a while back. And frankly it's not doable. Hell it would be a miracle to get a public option that's limited to 10% of insurance consumers. Obama isn't even pushing a public option all that hard, much less single payer.

I know it's easier to make an argument if you vilify Obama, but let's try to be realistic.


So because he has a goal in mind and sees the Baucus bill as the furthest towards socialized medicine he can get we should not oppose his efforts to destroy the American medical system?

John, you and I both know that the destruction of this country has been happening in small steps ever since we got an Income Tax Amendment passed. Our Founding Fathers were wise to keep the federal government poor. My grandfather's generation were fools to squander their wisdom.
