I am in the latter camp and have been for years. Why should I work and pay tons of taxes so Clowngress can waste them? Never cared for fancy cars or expensive homes as I am not quite THAT shallow. Besides that you end up being a slave to them, a prison of your own creation. Better to have free time to travel, learn, and just enjoy life. I could be working at a well paying job next week if I wanted one. It ain't gonna happen. Life is just too good the way it is now. I actually look forward to getting up each day. Don't get me wrong. I did my time, and paid my dues. My bills get paid on time and I have little/no debt.
