"Actually, thousands of years ago when we lived in the jungles and nomads on the plains, many feel love was not known so much. Wome were basically just the property of men."

You've been watching too many Flintstone cartoons. 'Helen of Troy' or 'Samson and Delilah' or 'Anthony and Cleopatra' are among our earliest historical records of how people 'basically' related...not much different then than now. Ardi the oldest known human like creature (4.4 million years ago) were thought to be bonded pairs rather than beastial males battling over fertile females. Ardi walked upright and straight forward not on knuckes or stepping side to side like apes. Records of beastial creatures are not generally relevant to 'us' in terms of humanity anyway. We don't really know from arceological records much about when a human became consciously aware of what it means to be a person with a sensitive regard for other persons and with feelings of responsibility over other creatures in general. We can speculate or we can just assume the scriptural records point to such an eventful time. There may have been a time when our ancestors were beastial and something miraculous effected them at a particular point in history or there may be another explanation. But you can no more prove one speculation scientifically than you can prove the other. So, if you are going to continue to raise science as a standard at least be true to your faith in it. Science doesn't know and neither do you.
