Alomex, Mr. Bean: Yes to tolerance. Yes to free speech. Both imply taking the good with the bad. The trick is to know the difference. And for high profile people in visibly high places, who represent public shareholders, they ought to exercise good judgment with respect to their public conduct.
Dr. and Mrs. Cowpland can lead as kinky, sleazy, and insecure life in private all they want. But they don't have to display and flaunt it at a high profile gathering for the public company they represent. It reveals (reseros) poor judgment, which unfortunately, spills over to the public perception of customers, employees, and investors, that spills the image of "good businessman" down the drain along with with what respect may have existed otherwise.
Yes some may call perpetrators of pornographic films, magazines, ads, etc. "good businessmen" because they make money. I beg to differ. Are you tolerant of my opinion?
As to a glitzy house, wife, dress, cars, and lifestyle, they can be more of a sign of "excess" than "success." They are usually pseudo signs and somewhat temporary as opposed to substantive and permanent ones.
Basically, Dr. C. has set himself up for additional embarrasment from parading his wife as a circus attraction. (What else can you call the photograph with the journalist from the citizen pointing at the diamonds in her naval?) If there is a "gala" next year, imagine the submissions of Mrs. Cowpland's half nude body being rendered, morphed, and exposed with the powerful tools of Draw 8 and Corel Photopaint. Basically, it will add more insult to injury for the Cowpland's and Corel. I personally feel sorry for them.
As to free speech, its a little too innocent to justify the language imagery you used as anatomical body parts in "connexus" with the photograph being discussed.
Here's some anatomical information that a Doctor can appreciate. The female breast is better known as a "mammary gland." Look it up in the Medical Suite. Mammary glands are designed by nature for feeding offspring to perpetuate the species. Don't you think that term "mammary glands" removes the "carnality" and debauchery out of the lewd imagery of the female breast increasingly flaunted in the media today and place it back to the respectful place deserved by the human intellect? (Should get some good laughs for this one!)
Hope this exercise was as fun as the Gala.
