I do believe the stimulus bill was the most fiscally irresponsible action I've ever seen a president take.

I won't argue with that. But I think it was done out of mass hysteria and he was just one player among many. Conversely, had he wanted to stop it, there was enough momentum that I'm not sure he could have. So I don't think you can lay it all at his feet.
