Sun uses TI to fab their processors. TI does not use excimer lasers to achieve .25 micron. Their volumes are low enough that they can take the lower throughput of their mercury lamp systems. Likewise my impression is that Intel is using older i-line systems for now. I think Yousef said as much some time ago.

Cymer says that Samsung is the only company using their system in production. I suspect their 700MHz Alpha chip was done with this system.
