Carbon free is a total misnomer for electric vehicles. Batteries are storage units, they are not self-generating devices. Given the storage property of batteries, where does the electricity to be stored come from? Oh yeah, from wind, hydro, coal, and nuclear power generators. Coal is a substantial portion. Is coal carbon free? Mary Trispas needs to take Harvard courses in common sense.
