I no longer have a team in the hunt in college football. I always root for my alma mater's team, but they no longer have one. So, I root for my grad school, Penn, which is 1-0 in the Ivy League. But, still, that's Ivy League and I don't think they won any of the non-conference games.

So, I root for Cal, and they've looked awful. Then I root for Stanford, which has looked good, but they did lose to Wake Forest. Then I root for the best California team in the Pac 10, which seems to be none of them. Then I root for the best Pac 10 team, which seems to be Oregon and they've already been humiliated by Boise. Then I rooted for Houston and Rice, and UH just fell apart yesterday. Rice is waiting for baseball season. Then I root against Notre Dame and they seem to be snatching wins from the jaws of defeat every week. And I root against all of the SEC teams that are doing well, unless they are Vanderbilt.

So, I'm stuck with Ivy League and rooting against people. Oh, well, still fun.
