Hey Frank, Earlier this year Trilliant acquired Skypilot. Trilliant does smart grid stuff. trilliantinc.com earth2tech.com We just won a deal in a small city that should grow to another 5 adjacent cities in the county. Of course, we are only doing the mesh part, but the AMR collectors are feeding into our devices. We're talking to a couple of the meter companies right now with the intent of integrating the mesh with the wireless meter readers/collectors. Much better solution if there isn't the need for overlay networks. WiFi is definitely finding its place in the AMR/SmartGrid niche. On a side note, the mines are starting to take off too. JXM
