I used to be on the R's side in a major way also, when I was younger and dumber <ggg>. By the way, the health insurance company that 'owns my self paying ass' just sent me another one of it's yearly greetings. Last year they jacked up my premium 20% because I entered a 'new age/rate category'. This year they just told me they are only raising my premium a measly 15%! Yep, thing are getting cheaper all the time!

Regards,
John

PS - I can't wait till my wife gets her 'missive' over the next few months, telling her what the increase will be. Here's an excerpt from their 'Dear John' letter. LOL!!

"At this time we have evaluated our premium rates to ensure they are aligned with advances in the health care industry and remain affordable and competitive. Due to combined inflationary trends in health care, all members with a policy similar to yours are receiving a premium rate adjustment."
