"Creation has a time dimension. In other words, creatures and the temporal universe itself is thought of as having a time oriented beginning, a middle, and an end to existence. The idea of a creator necessarily presumes an existence beyond the limitation of time, an eternal being not limited by time or other temporal descriptors. Not bound to, limited by, or explainable by purely temporal concepts. This presents a problem for someone who necessarily factors out non-material thinking. The concept of time itself generally must be skimmed a bit to make everything fit into proper pigeon holes for a devote of materialism."

I agree and would add that because of the Laws of thermodynamics, a material universe cannot be an eternal perpetual motion machine.
