OMG, Obama didn't save us from anything. This "crisis" was really in no danger of becoming a "catastrophe"; the Fed has and will always take the necessary steps to ensure that. Our involvement in Iraq was already on the decline, yet Obama is caught flatfooted with the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan. Health care "reform" is inevitable, but that's only going to add another severe strain on any economic recovery. Doing something about energy dependence? Don't make me laugh; even you can't believe that Obama is going to ween us off of foreign oil with solar, wind, and trains alone. Tenchusatsu
