>> Like Bush did with Iraq and tax cuts?

Except that tax cuts INCREASED revenue under Bush. In fact, it was the spending that caused the deficits to go up.

As to Iraq, it is a tired old argument. We got rid of two terrorist states that were determined to go nuclear, put a democracy in place of a dictatorship that was killing 5,000 civilians a month, and positioned the Middle East for the installation of a more moderate regime in Iran -- which was and is one of the greatest threats to our country. It is one thing to throw money at people to get their votes, and something else again to defend our nation from terrorists becoming nuclear terrorists.
