As far as I know, this test is unique to CMTR. What makes it different from all the other instant tests out there is that it gives a quantitative reading rather than just a yes/no result.

I'm intrigued by the notion that CMTR could get the HP test approved as an OTC test - I can't see that the FDA would object in principle. (As they might to say an OTC strep test, which also has liability issues atached). Although HP tests are now a dime a dozen, I think CMTR is the only one of the players that has experience with marketing OTC tests directly.
