Ted, one problem is that Obama isn't actually doing much stimulating of the economy.

He isn't? Job losses were averaging 700K in January. They are down to 250K in Sept. Car sales were down to a rate of less than 9 million per year back last fall; they now are over 10 million closing in on 11 million. Housing sales are coming back with a roar. In Seattle, even expensive homes are starting to move. The stock market is up 45% since March. Alcoa just reported..........it beat expectations and made a profit. Sales started to turn in the latest quarter.

Obama is a miracle man....in the face of the worst recession since WW II, he is pulling off a miracle. And he doesn't even expect thanks from the right but he would like them to STFU.

(Those of you who claimed that "wasteful spending is stimulus" really have no clue WTF you guys were talking about.) Haphazardly adding another $500B to the federal budget went nowhere, especially since states had to drastically cut back their budgets (or raise taxes, or both).

Retail sales are still off. That's where states get a lot of their revenue. They will continue to fall short until retail sales turn upward decisively.

I know what you're thinking, that Obama didn't do enough, which is why inflation is still a far-off concern. That would be the Krugman school of thought, but of course Krugman never saw a Democrat spending program he didn't like.

Sorry, but you're making it up as you go a long. In over ten years, this is the only spending program the Dems have come up with. Its why you continue to lose credibility on this thread. Do your homework....stop treating the Fox talking points as gospel.
