Don't know what Steve's opinion is, but IMHO the stock has about bottomed.
If you consider the ongoing onslaught among hi-tech stocks that seem to
leave S3 unaffected, one can only assume that the market has discounted
all the internal and external bad news as it pertains to S3.

With a MV/BV of less than 2, it has got to be a bargain at these levels, but
it may take a spell of good news to see appreciably higher levels.

On the downside, the overall market has not stabilized as yet and it may still
take some time, so all bets are off until the global market has returned
to some level of normalcy.

Nonetheless, S3 is holding its own quite well.
