When you cut and paste them into the reply window, if you're using Netscape you have to remove the hard returns that get inserted. To delete them, just put the cursor at the end of the line and hit Del. You might also have to insert a space after doing that. Sometimes it's hard to tell if they are there. The easiest way I have found is to insert about half a line of spaces at the beginning of a "paragraph". It will "break" at the hard returns as you insert. You can also see them after you submit, then Edit your message.

Internet Explorer doesn't put the hard returns in. I was quite surprised! It's the one feature of IE that Netscape doesn't have (or bug in Netscape that IE doesn't have--whichever way it is). I strongly prefer Netscape, but I'm using a company laptop and we're not allowed to install unauthorized software (even if we own it) on the computer.
