The non-weasel answer of course is that in the 11 days between the time of his inauguration and the closing of nominations, Obama had done nothing to deserve a Nobel Peace Prize.....Awarding this prize to Obama merely further devalues the Nobel Award. That is looking at the award through the prism of reality. You should try it some time.... J.
