FWIW some technical analysis:

Yesterday's gap up was filled today. I know for you nonTA types that's probably a big hohum and so what, and I understand. But for you TA types, you know that "all gaps must be filled" and from a long term standpoint better to fill that gap sooner rather than later.

So though this was a disappointing day, at least that was accomplished and is now behind us to a great extent.

When I first started learning TA years ago, the gap-filling business seemed a bit far fetched and trivial, but over the years I've seen what a drag on a stock gaps can be and how they add complexity to trading patterns. Gaps up are exciting momentary confirmations for anxious shareholders, but they leave behind unfinished business that gets revisited when the stock is stressed in downtrends.

Trying to sound a note of optimism. This is a difficult and tough market, and will be for some time to come, IMHO.
