The dude just got the freaking Nobel Peace Prize, one of the highest honors in the world.

Only to the shallowest, most ignorant people in the world.
The thing is Inode, you and your ilk are the problem. War is bad, peace is good. Most every modern President has recognized that, except your favorite George Bush.
So, for the real traditional Americans, the folks that want peace in the world, Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize is very important. It's a turning point. A recognition by the world community that America is back on track; we are the 'good guys' again. As we have been under every recent President except Bush.
I'm sick to death of you neoconservatives that think you can lead by force instead of by example. The evidence is in, and has been in, and you are just wrong. Your way kills thousands of US soldiers and 10's of thousands of innocent civilians. To no positive effect. Incremental progress is the method.... every President, except Bush, has practiced that to great effect. The world was getting a little better every year... until Bush took office.
So go ahead... ridicule Obama for the "peace prize". As if peace was a terrible thing. You've got the stage... play the "war is great" card.
Hopefully the American people, unemployed and suffering, are a little sick of wars. We'll see. |
