Knighty, i've heard the "we are all in the same boat" argument wrt currency and i don't buy it.

not that all currencies aren't under pressure by the sociopaths looting the treasury to paper over the gambling losses of their friends and donors - they are.

but because the dollar is the reserve currency it has the farthest to fall - and when it is replaced by other currencies, they will go up, all else being equal.

the us dollar is in a confidence crisis - and they may or may not be able to manipulate confidence levels.

if not, it will get ugly sooner rather than later.
