But his only real contribution to debt is the stimulus plan...the rest is bush momentum...

This, of course, is nonsense.

1. Obama could have chosen not to spend the second half of TARP. As it turned out the second half was wasted, the first half stopped the economic slide.

2. The stimulus is now starting to gain recognition as the biggest waste of money in history by a wide margin. It is nearly a trillion dollars in case you forgot. And now they're talking about EVEN MORE "stimulus" because the first was an abject failure because it was pork barrel spending, not tax cuts. Tax cuts are needed because they are truly stimulative.

3. We have legislation before Congress today for a trillion dollars in new spending, and a substantial portion of it is going to pass. You can't blame THAT on Bush.

4. If you want to blame the one year on Bush, fine -- it is disingenuous, but okay. However, you cannot lay blame for the 10 years of trillion dollar plus projections. These are Obama's wasteful spending.
