Here's a prime example for inconsistency, stupidity:
Lam Research (LRCX) are trading higher this morning after Credit Suisse analyst Satya Kumar upped his rating on the stock to Outperform from Neutral, while lifting his price target to $41, from $23.

Kumar offered three reasons for optimism on Lam’s prospects:

* The company should outgrow the semi equipment sector in 2010 by 1,000 basis points, he says, “simply because it is not leveraged to Intel,” which he says will not meaningfully increase capital spending in 2010, while the rest of the industry boosts spending by 30%-35%.
* The company is likely to gain share in core accounts, including Samsung and Micron.
* He sees upside to current consensus estimates. For 2010, Kumar sees revenue of $1.75 billion and EPS of $1.63, far above the consensus at $1.5 billion and 83 cents.

That ...ucking asshole raised NVLS target to $29 based on $1.65 EPS,,,and here the moron raised LRCX target to $41 based on an EPS of $1.63
