I think the class action is a deal changer in more ways than one ...

- It should increase the media attention and possibly / hopefully bring a change in attitude. Prior to the suit, we were likely viewed as a small group of "whiney / sore" investors or should I say, gamblers who were largely ignored by the media with a few notable exceptions. The story just wasn't headline material. Now it will become headline material as the financial media (hopefully) recognizes the wider impact of this "unusual" deal.
If you have contacted the media before, contact them again and make them aware of the changed situation!
Hint: Refer them to this forum with a link. I know, most journalists claim to ignore this sort of information in their research. Trust me, they will use it. I know. :-)

- It may just encourage the parties to this deal to rethink their positions.
Potentially dubious accounting (write-downs), potentially misleading NR's and backdoor dealing can't do much for anyone's resume.
Awarding contracts to / dealing with a company with a potential $80 Mil liability hanging over its head may not necessarily be "good" business.
Buying a company with such a potential liability may not be to the "liking" of Versa stakeholders.
Taking part in / accommodating a questionable deal (RBC / EDC) certainly can't be very good PR.
