Wow. Barnett must have studied Lenin well - ol' Vladimir Ilyich always remembered to fight his enemies hard, and his friends - even harder. That's how one remains the leader of a movement.

I detect a note of hysteria. It must be dawning on the Dem policy wonks that they have hitched their stars to a wannabe Marxist and his handlers, and that this may not end well. I think Tom Barnett really believed all that stuff about Obama the smart (didn't he tell us Obama was brilliant?) & pragmatic moderate he was spouting last year.
