I grew up in bean country, and those soybeans look real to me. Looks like a staged photo where they stopped and re-started several times to get the machines lined up perfectly. The combines have internal grain tanks holding several hundred bushels, so they can operate without the chaser bins. Probably left out the auxiliary equipment to avoid cluttering up the image. Here's some additional views from that photo shoot...
