your grandson had a great day today. He actually played in two games. One of the other teams was short one player so he filled in. In the game where he filled in, he made several plays in the outfield (fill-in players can only play outfield). Oh yeah, and he got two singles and was walked once.....and scored three times.

In our game he actually pitched an inning...he did a good job, but he really isn't a pitcher so a few of his pitches got tagged pretty well. But, back as catcher he made two great plays, one where he nailed a guy in a pickle and the other was a pop that he had to make a diving catch to get us out of the inning.....oh, and he got a single and a double. Both of his hits were solid and he actually turned his double into three bases as they threw the ball to home to try stop the RBI (they failed).
