"Note that CJ refused to address my question about what should have been done differently."

It isn't that I refused. It is just I have addressed this dozens of times. Yet you refuse to acknowledge it.

First, no empty saber rattling. We know how NK behaves, nothing they have done has surprised anyone but the extreme right. Threatening does nothing but provoke more games. Especially if no one is prepared to carry them out, which no one is. Sanctions aren't going to work, it isn't like they aren't prepared to starve everyone except the leadership to death. The only thing that works is negotiations and bribes. And even then, they only work until the current leadership wants something else. The brutal truth of the matter is that as long as they hold Seoul hostage, there aren't a lot of options.
