What is unsupported is your opinion that Lombrozo must have been talking only about and studying the opinions of fundamentalist "creationists". The fact that she found no correlation between understanding of evolution and acceptance itself tells you thats not true. For if she'd been studying ONLY fundamentalist "creationists" as you claim there likely wouldn't be anyone in her study that accepted evolution. If that had been the case she couldn't have formed the opinion that she did.

------------------------

if you define evolution as what is commonly accepted as the 'modern synthesis' then I am a "non-believer" if the evolution you are talking about is ANY form of evolution (species change over time) you may get a completely different set of data.

You have a point that evolution can be defined various ways.
