Reagan said if Medicare was passed it would be the end of democracy in America. Thirty years later, its liberal socialism that will destroy America. You don't even use the terms correctly......like non existent WMDs in Iraq, you employ the words simply to scare people into doing what you want. Its a tactic as old as the world and its not very effective. That's why Rs always seem to be part of the problem, not the solution.

The truth is the Rs have held back this country. Only because of our substantial resources and massive infrastructure have we been able to move forward dragging the weighty ball that is the Rs. That won't work any more.....the Rs have managed to inflict a serious economic wound on this country just as other countries are reaching a critical mass in terms of their growth. Our role in the world is about to change significantly.......we can no longer afford to play policeman to the world while trying to keep up with our economic competitors. And that will finally break the grip the Rs have had on this country.
