That part about who required exclusivity. Intel says they never require exclusivity. Maybe the Intel parts were just so much better that the OEM didn't see any need to waste time with AMD and volunteered it? I really don't know and neither do you. That's the point. Why not ask him? You don't want that because you're afraid of what he might say. It might blow your case.

Maybe AMD had real problems delivering? Maybe AMD was sporadic? Maybe there were quality problems? Maybe they didn't offer proper technical support? You don't know and you don't want to find out by asking. AMD's yield reports might reveal that they were capacity constrained due to poor yields and couldn't deliver anyway. There are good technical reasons to think that might be true. Why not subpoena their yield reports?

So we have the cow quoting the sheep but you don't want to ask the sheep what really happened, or even grill the cow because you're afraid of what he might say. You don't want to examine the sheep to see if it's been "active" because you're afraid maybe the cow was just slinging BS and nothing really did happen. Better to just quote what the cow originally said and leave it at that. You can call it justice and feel good inside.
